The fight between good and evil is not always a clear portrait although evil always seems to be more easily personified and embedded in a character like The Butcher. Think of the ten worst paranormal books you have ever read, mix them all together and you will get something approximating this over stuffed mess. Too many clunkers in this book. Complicated. Confused. And just flat out boring. If you are looking for entertainment. Look elsewhere. If are looking for something mindless while contemplating suicide. This one's for you.
Best in the series in think.
As always this author is good. She surprised me with the ending of this book. It was a great read.
I would recommend this book to others to read especially if they are familiar with others in series. This book can be read as a standalone
This is such a great series... It so good to get to kno Maxim after getting to see him In the other books .. And the story fit him perfectly... And Sasha was funny, smart, determined.. The perfect Omega... I can't wait for the next book!!!
Great third book in the series! I liked the back and forth between the past and present. It was a nice way to get the backstory. The characters were fun And fixing the barrier was intriguing. Of course the ending was full of awes and it'll be fun to see how the pups develop. Looking forward to book 4!
We get the story of Maxim and his former mate, Sasha. This books alternates between 2 time periods, how they initially meet and separate and them meeting again to save Maxim's kingdom. Maxim's attention now is solely on his kingdom and soon to be birth of his children, he doesn't have time for drama with his ex no matter how he wants Sasha back. Sasha is losing control, he needs Maxim but doesn't think Maxim will ever forgive him even though Maxim forgave others who have hurt him. While they journey together to solve a problem, Max's kingdom is in danger of a mutiny.
